(I, eye, i)
I was running across a bridge
and eye saw goldfish shimmering thru the murky water beneath me;
made me almost want to stop to think,
‘what am i running from?’
I saw a blue heron the other day,
eye watched as it snatched a goldfish out of that pond;
reminded me what it is that i’m running from
